Peter Vuust appointed professor at AU

Brain researcher and jazz musician Peter Vuust has been appointed professor at Aarhus University. With his appointment as professor at AU, he becomes the first person in Denmark to hold a professorship at a royal academy of music and a university.

Claus Højbjerg Gravholt from Aarhus University and Aarhus University Hospital has just received a substantial grant from the Novo Nordisk Foundation. The grant will go towards getting closer to an understanding of why Turner syndrome and Klinefelter syndrome occur.

Millions to go towards research into genetic hormonal disorders

Arctic fritillary (Boloria chariclea) is one of the two species that have become smaller due to climate change. This is demonstrated in a new study by Danish researchers. The scientists have measured the wing length of nearly 4,500 individuals collected annually between 1996 and 2013 from Zackenberg, Greenland and found that the blade length decreased significantly in response to warmer summers.
