On Friday 1 February, five researchers from Aarhus University were awarded a Semper Ardens grant by the Carlsberg foundation. A total of 13 grants were awarded.

AU and AUH strengthen research and treatment of pelvic cancer

Aarhus University and Aarhus University Hospital have appointed two new professors, both of whom are renowned experts in pelvic cancer. They will begin work on 1 April. The appointments are a marked bolstering of the area which will benefit patients.

Opening of Concordium Blockchain Research Center Aarhus

The Concordium Blockchain Research Centre at Aarhus University opens on 1 February 2019. The centre will be researching into blockchain technology, with focus on security, transparency and general usability. The Concordium Foundation is donating funding of DKK 50 million (EUR 6.6 million) over five years.
