Abstract
What is the rapport between us ("observers") and the World, viewed through the prism of science? Professor Gershon Kurizki shall present a personalized review of the main schools of thought on this formidable problem throughout history, culminating in outstanding issues of modern physics. In particular, information, its dependence on observability and on the elusive notion of consciousness, will be discussed.
