Join the AU Challenge and solve challenges for businesses

Aarhus University Challenge is a new and exclusive event that brings together students from all faculties at AU.

AU Challenge is a new concept which brings together students from all faculties at AU to solve challenges set by external businesses. The challenge is a unique opportunity for you to collaborate with other students across AU, expand your network and test and develop your skills in problem solving of real-life cases.

Interdisciplinary teams

The goal of the challenge is to give students experience in working in interdisciplinary teams, for example when students of medicine, computer science, communication and law solve challenges together and, in the process, learn something about their own academic strengths as well as those of others.

Workshops and test case

We will recruit and select 40 students from all faculties. The students will be assigned to teams based on a profile analysis. Over the course of five workshops, the ten teams will receive training in:

  • case-based methods of problem-solving
  • business understanding
  • pitching
  • presentation techniques

Arla will set the first task

The five workshops will provide you with the tools to solve the next task: a test case which this year will be set by Arla. All teams will then have the chance to move on to the open part of Aarhus Case Competition, Aspire which will be held at Aarhus BSS in April (week 15).

The process will help you develop your understanding of how and where you can use your competences in the job market and practice your skills in teamwork at the same time.

Sign up here before 20 February 2018.
