Introduction day for new employees

All new salaried employees are encouraged to participate in AU's introduction days, which are held every third month.

Are you a new salaried member of academic or technical/administrative staff at AU? Then you’re invited to participate in an introduction day.

At the introduction day, new employees get to meet the AU senior management team, and are introduced to the overall strategies and values of the university. Other topics covered include the university’s organisational structure, liaison committees, union representatives and rules and guidelines for employees at AU. Furthermore, a non-Danish colleague will share his or her personal experiences with both living and working in Denmark.  As a new employee, this is also a good chance for you to meet and network with some of your new colleagues.

  • The next introduction day will be held on 10 December 2015.
  • New employees can be registered for the introduction day prior to their first day on the job by a colleague from the department. Alternatively, new employees can register for the introduction day themselves by agreement with their manager.
