Limited IT during the weekend of 17-18 November

IT maintenance work will affect AU’s IT systems and services and cause interruptions at different times during the weekend of 17 and 18 November 2018.

AU IT and AU Finance and Estates Projects and Development will carry out a planned service window from Saturday 17 November at 00:01 to Sunday 18 November at 23:59. Necessary updates to systems, etc. will be carried out to ensure students and employees the greatest possible degree of IT system functionality, operational stability and security.

Throughout the weekend of the service window, you will be able to use AV equipment locally in lecture theatres/classrooms, and you will be able to work locally on your computer, though without connection to central IT systems, shared drives, the video centre, AU's network or the internet.

Service window schedule:

  • Saturday at 00:01 until 20:00 at the latest, there will be periodic disruptions in a number of IT and telephone services due to network changes. The services that will be affected include websites/au.dk, STADS, IDM (including data cards), mit.au, mit.LDAP, Web Room booking, “Timetables and Rooms”, Video Conference, Blackboard, Horizon, Finance and BI systems etc.
  • Wireless network, printing, remote locations and internet to/from AU will be disconnected for 2 x 30 min in the period between 00:01-05:00 the night between Friday and Saturday.
  • Wireless network, IDM, STADS and Blackboard will be affected by service interruptions  from Saturday 00:001 until Sunday 20:00 at the latest.
  • From 1 November, a detailed service window schedule will be available at www.serviceinfo.au.dk, along with an overview of next year’s planned service windows.
