Do you need to park at AU?

From 1 February, more parking areas at AU will be reserved for AU employees. If you would like to use these parking areas, and haven't registered your car, remember to do so at au.dk/parking.

The Digital Parking project has now been in progress for a couple of years at selected AU parking areas. A lot more parking spaces at AU will now be reserved for employees. Digital Parking will be changing its name to Employee Parking at the same time.

Parking for employees

The maps here show which areas will become employee parking areas as of 1 February:

When your parking permit has been created at au.dk/parking, you will also be able to use the parking available at Navitas' level -2, signposted ASE/ENG (AU Engineering). Please note that this building is only open between 08:00 and 17:00 on weekdays.

If you have already created a parking permit at au.dk/parking, your permit has automatically been extended to 31 December 2020. If you have not created a parking permit, this can be done at au.dk/parking.

How to create a parking permit

Staff who work primarily at AU can create a free parking permit at au.dk/parking.

After you have registered your car, the parking attendant will be able to see that you have a permit to park by scanning the car’s number plate.

You may register up to two cars, but both cars may not be parked in the AU employee parking areas at the same time.

AU staff can also register parking for visitors at au.dk/parking. This allows visitors to park in one of the parking spaces reserved for AU employees. You can only register parking for visitors for one day at a time.

Find out more about employee parking at au.dk/parking.

Parking for students

Students can use public parking spaces in the University Park and at Aarhus BSS:

The Nobel Park also has a limited number of parking spaces, where anyone can park for a maximum of four hours with a parking disc. Please remember to check the parking signs where you park.

Temporary changes to parking in the Nobel Park

FEAS has just begun constructing a new office building for COWI. As a result, parking will be affected in the Nobel Park until summer 2018. You can see the affected areas on this map

Disabled parking

If you have a valid disability parking permit, you are free to park in all AU designated employee parking spaces.
