Irene Petersen and John Acquavella, both professors at Department of Clinical Epidemiology, are among the eight newly awarded Fellows of ISPE (International Society of Pharmacoepidemiology). A number of criteria have to be fulfilled to achieve this honour. Among others, one has to have been a member of ISPE for five consecutive years and have contributed actively to the organization in terms of being member of the board, committees or working or interest groups. In addition, one’s publications are assessed in terms of quality and impact.
