With Professor Jørgen Frøkiær as department head, the Department of Clinical Medicine is getting an insider with plenty of managerial experience and prior knowledge of the culture – both at the department and at its collaborative partner Aarhus University Hospital.
Jørgen Frøkiær leaves his position as professor and chair of the medical speciality Clinical Physiology and Nuclear Medicine, where he has conducted his own research into kidney diseases and the development of diagnostic methods. At the same time, he has been acting head consultant at the Department of Nuclear Medicine and PET Centre at Aarhus University Hospital.
