Congratulations to PROMEMO PI Magnus Kjærgaard who has been awarded a Villum Experiment grant of 2 mio. DKK

The board of VILLUM FONDEN has decided to reward Magnus Kjærgaard and his team the prestigious Villum Experiment grant for the project "Self-assembled protein droplets as reaction platforms for biotechnology".

On the revelvance to PROMEMO, Magnus Kjærgaard comments: "this new project is actually a spin-off from our PROMEMO research. We study how  synaptic proteins control signalling in the brain. This led us to ask whether similar processes can be used in biotechnology. This is what this project allows us to test."
