Zygomaticus activations and Amygdala oscillations: The structure of musical pleasure.

 

From tears to goosebumps to breaking into a smile, music has the remarkable ability to induce emotions and elicit pleasure. In this talk, I will present work examining how the dynamics of music’s building blocks recruits the limbic system and drives pleasurable physiological arousal.
