Teachers and social educators to be trained in mindfulness

The Danish Center for Mindfulness at Aarhus University has received DKK 12.5 million from the government's special pool for the social area to train teachers and social educators in mindfulness. The training programme will help develop and strengthen children's and young people's mental health.

Health increases awareness of constructive communication

Constructive communication is a prioritised focus area at the university. For this reason, the faculty management team at Health is asking managers and employees to increase awareness of constructive communication over the winter. If the departments and units have not already begun this work, now is the time to roll up their sleeves.

Cognitive behavioural therapy for children and adolescents with OCD works in the long run

The vast majority of children and adolescents who receive cognitive behavioural therapy treatment for OCD thrive and live without symptoms a year after the end of treatment. This is shown by new research from Aarhus University’s Centre for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry in Risskov.

Grant: Does oestrogen have an effect on strength training?
