Changes in parking availability around the University Park in the period 6 - 15 September 2019

Health goes from three to two vice-deans

From the turn of the year, the Dean's Office at Health will consist of two vice-deans – one for research and one for education. The aim is to ensure the greatest possible cohesion in resolving tasks and to strengthen the faculty’s international and interdisciplinary work along with the external collaboration with companies and foundations.

Health to begin the search for a new vice-dean for research

Vice-dean OIe Steen Nielsen will not be reapplying for the position of vice-dean for research when his employment contract expires next summer. After nine years in the post, inclusive a period as acting dean, he wishes to leave the position and retire.

Health researchers get access to advanced new microscope systems

The faculty’s new bioimaging core facility is now opening for all Health researchers who wish to make use of the eight advanced microscope systems which are currently available. The microscopes are installed in the Skou Building at the bottom of the University Park.

Brazilian research talent receives chewing gum award

Associate Professor and PhD Gustavo Nascimento from Aarhus University has travelled the world to enhance his skills in his research field. He has now been awarded the Bagger-Sørensen Foundation's Young Researcher Prize of DKK 75,000 in recognition of his tireless work and impressive research results.
