A team of CFIN scientists led by Professor Yury Shtyrov has received DKK 2.5 mio. to study cognitive implications of Parkinsons disease (PD) and of deep-brain stimulation treatment (DBS).

DFF is funding a 3-year project by Rasha Hyder, Karen Østergaard, Andreas Højlund and Yury Shtyrov, in which they will use MEG to systematically investigate poorly understood neurolinguistic deficits in PD and their amelioration and decline as a result of DBS.
