Assistant Professor Mads Sloth Vinding has received 100.000 DKK from Harboefonden for the project: "Innovative hyperthermia: can deep-seated brain tumors be treated with magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)?"

22.06.2017 | Henriette Blæsild Vuust

This project aims to evaluate a potential hyperthermia treatment of brain tumors with tomorrows MRI technology. For this purpose, the project will encompass electrical properties tomography, MR thermometry, numerical field simulations, advanced optimal control pulse sequences and specialised model phantoms.

The grant from Harboefonden covers equipment for the project.
