Abstract

The focus of my research group is cancer biology and the molecular mechanism in tumor progression. To study this, we have established in vivo cancer models in mice, with the use of CRIPR technology. Hereby, disease models can be generated with genetic alterations of multiple genes simultaneously in somatic cells. My talk will focus on CRISPR generated cancer models of lung, glioblastoma and prostate cancer. I will be highlighting results from these models and how CRISPR technology has allowed us to address new questions in cancer biology.
