Dansk grundforskning får et stort rygstød med knap 300 mio. kr. fra Carlsbergfondet – 50,6 mio. af disse uddeles til 43 AU-forskere.

Nyheden bygger på en pressemeddelelse fra Carlsbergfondet

Ny behandling af COVID-19. Betydningen af dyreplankton i Arktis. En undersøgelse af den lutherske arv i det danske samfund.

Emnerne spænder vidt i de 44 forskningsprojekter på Aarhus Universitet, som nu får støtte fra Carlsbergfondet i form af bevillinger på i alt 50,6 mio. kr.

Med bevillingerne fortsætter Carlsbergfondet sin strategiske målsætning om at understøtte og fremtidssikre vilkårene for den ypperste grundforskning inden for naturvidenskab, humaniora og samfundsvidenskab.

Samtlige bevillinger er givet på baggrund af en grundig faglig vurdering af lige knap 600 indkomne ansøgninger, der udspringer af forskernes egne visionære ideer og projektforslag.
