PhD student at Department of Clinical Epidemiology Sigrún Jóhannesdóttir Schmidt has received the 2015 Lundbeck Foundation Talent Award. The award is granted to researchers less than 30 years old whose research within health is particularly promising. Sigrún Schmidt has been granted the award because she is a very dynamic and engaged researcher. Her PhD project is on the incidence of, risk factors for and prognosis of herpes zoster in Denmark.
The Lundbeck Foundation talent award is granted based on recommendations from leading researchers at Danish universities and other research institutions. This year, four young researchers have received the award, which is a personal merit award of DKK 100,000.
