Funding from the Lundbeck Foundation

MD, PhD Per Borghammer and Professor David Brooks have received 1.740.234 kr from the Lundbeck Foundation.

The funding from the Lundbeck Foundation is going to be used for a new Phd project. Using novel PET tracers, the project aims to investigate accumulation of pathological tau-proteins in the brains of patients with Parkinson’s disease and the relationship of these proteins to development of dementia.
