Information meeting: Applying for a Center of Excellence to the Danish National Research Foundation (Danmarks Grundforskningsfond).
In November 2015 the Danish National Research Foundation opens the next call for Centers of Excellence. Aarhus University invites potential applicants to an information meeting on Centers of Excellence and how to apply for one.
Programme:
16:30–16:35 Welcome (Ole Steen Nielsen, Vice-Dean for Research, HE)
16:35–16:50 Presentation of the call (Danish National Research Foundation). Get an early introduction to the call and possible changes from previous calls.
16:50–17:10 Applying for a Center of Excellence (Professor Rubina Raja, Department for Culture and Society and professor Troels Skrydstrup, Department of Chemistry) Two centre directors tell us about their experiences from the application phase, the negotiations and the establishing of a centre.
17:10-17:55 Q&A Ask all your questions to DG and to the directors of the centers.
17:55 –18:00 Support for the application (Research Support Office) The Research Support Office present their support services offered to applicants during the application phase.
