\'Translational research: When do public science projects result in real world impact?\'
Dr Markus Perkmann is associate professor at Imperial College Business School, London. His research interests include the business of science, university-industry relations, and organizational theory. He has published in journals including Research Policy, Organization Studies, Industrial and Corporate Change and MIT Sloan Management Review, and has edited a book on globalization. He holds a PhD in Sociology from Lancaster University and is Management Practices Fellow of the Advanced Institute of Management Research (AIM).
