LINX Workshop

Aarhus University, University of Copenhagen and the Technical University of Denmark have joined forces and will combine their support to Danish industry for exploiting neutron and X-ray technology to improve product characteristics and competitiveness.

Danish Industry is hosting a workshop for discussion and planning of the collaboration and focus areas in the future Industry Portal LINX – Linking Industry to Neutrons and X-rays - in close collaboration with Aarhus University, University of Copenhagen and the Technical University of Denmark.

The cornerstone for LINX is a close collaboration between the participating universities and active industrial partners in order to secure that activities are focused within industrially relevant areas.

The Industry Portal is open for all Danish companies with a need for:

  • advanced structural characterization of materials,
  • biotech and biopharmaceutical components or
  • technological processes

13:00 Input from participating industries on relevant focus areas (Please prepare 5 min. input on your expectations to LINX)

14:00 Vision and plans for the three centers of excellence:

  • DTU Imaging Center
  • AU Diffraction Portal
  • KU NXUS Small-Angle Scattering Portal

15:30 Discussion of

  • LINX governance
  • Coordination and information exchange
