10.09.2020 | Hella Kastbjerg

Franz Schwarzacher is a Master's student in Neuro-Cognitive Psychology at the LMU Munich, Germany. He decided to do his research project between the second and third semester at MIB and is therefore currently an intern here until October 2020.

Frank is working under the supervision of MIB postdoc David Quiroga. Together they are investigating the perception of sound sequences with different degrees of complexity and their neural correlates in the brain with the help of MEG and MRI imaging. He will also analyze and process the data. Furthermore, he will build, run, and analyze a corresponding online behavioral study.

Beside his deep interest in neuroscience and cognitive sciences, Franz has always been fascinated with music. He plays several instruments and dedicates a great deal of his private life to performing and listening to music.
