New publication from MIB: The first imaging genetic study linking dopaminergic genes to music.

Co-authored by MIB professor Elvira Brattico and MIB PhD student Maria Celeste Fasano, this publication is the result of a collaboration with the Psychiatric Neuroscience group at the University of Bari, Italy.

The article "Interaction between DRD2 variation and sound environment on mood and emotion-related brain activity" was published in "Neuroscience" and is the first imaging genetic study on music domain showing the effects of a dopaminergic gene variation on sound-induced mood and visual emotion processing.
