Head of Department of Clinical Epidemiology, professor Henrik Toft Sørensen, has received the 2012 Hagedorn Prize. The prize is one of the most prestigious awards in health science and is awarded by the Danish Society for Internal Medicine as acknowledgement of outstanding scientific achievements within the field of internal medicine. Henrik Toft Sørensen has received the award for his pioneer work in the development of clinical databases and monitoring of prognoses and for being one of the leading scientists within clinical epidemiology.
