Information security: The yellow banner in your inbox will be removed

The yellow warning banner at the top of mails to AU employees from external senders will have a short life. AU IT has decided to remove it on the background of negative reactions from many employees. It’s still important that we’re all alert to the dangers of phishing mails.

Two TNU researchers appointed AIAS associated fellows

Professor Gregers Wegener and Associated Professor Rodrigo Grassi-Oliveira from TNU have been aoopinted AIAS associated fellows from 1 April 2021 for a 3-year period.

Gardeners and the heads of building services at AU have looked into which of the university's green areas are best suited for conversion to biodiversity. Based on these considerations, a number of areas have been selected at the University Park, at various locations in Aarhus and Emdrup, and at Påskehøjgaard in Ølsted.

Aarhus University wants to increase biodiversity in several of the university's green areas. The areas will increase species variation, and can be used in connection with teaching and as a meeting point for social activities.

New publication from Nissen lab: “A non-helical region in transmembrane helix 6 of hydrophobic amino acid transporter MhsT mediates substrate recognition”
