Two full days of programming featuring the latest advances in neuropathic pain. Special areas of focus include: diabetic neuropathic pain and chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathic pain.

Fatty acids can slow down an overheated immune system

The STING protein is normally an important part of our immune system, but in some autoimmune diseases it is itself the source of the disease. The pharmaceutical industry is therefore engaged in a race to find a drug that can inhibit STING. Now, researchers from Aarhus may have found it.

Aarhus has a new Doctor of Medical Science specialising in traumatic experiences

Jaimie Lorenne Gradus, associate professor and new recipient of a higher doctoral degree at Aarhus University Hospital and Aarhus University, carries out research into how both physical and mental health is affected in people who have been exposed to serious, stressful and traumatic events.

Health gets three new AIAS fellows

Aarhus Institute of Advanced Studies (AIAS) has just chosen 16 new AIAS fellows from all over the world. Three of them are health science researchers.

The university’s 90th anniversary celebration will be held this Friday in the University Park.
