The Independent Research Fund Denmark will support 35 outstanding, early career researchers with original ideas and strong leadership skills with a total amount of DKK 208 million. Eleven AU researchers are among the recipients and will become Sapere Aude research leaders.

35 excellent Sapere Aude research leaders will set a new course in a wide range of research areas. The Independent Research Fund Denmark has pointed to the very best early career researchers, emphasising groundbreaking ideas and strong leadership ambitions to bolster Denmark's future.

The research leaders will be able to lead their own teams and conduct research at a high international level.

The eleven recipients from Aarhus University have received a total of DKK 66 million. The recipients are:
