Seventeen researchers from Aarhus University have won grants from the Independent Research Fund Denmark for research projects that contribute to the green transition.

The transition to a more sustainable society is one of the major challenges of our time. Independent Research Fund Denmark (DFF) has awarded DKK 333 million to 65 research projects aimed at contributing to this green transition. Seventeen of the 65 grant recipients are AU researchers. Nine are from Technical Sciences, seven from Natural Sciences and one is from Aarhus BSS.
The funding will be used to support the work of talented researchers in order to generate original new ideas and research breakthroughs in regard to the climate, nature and the environment.
