Starting on 5 April 2016, the design of key cards for the buildings in Aarhus C and Herning will be changed. The changes are being made to improve security. It will not be necessary to replace your current card.

In addition to a new design, the key cards for the buildings in Aarhus C and Herning will contain addition information: the bearer’s AU ID (a unique AU identification number) and a serial number.
Current cards do not need replacing, and they will continue to function normally after 5 April. However, if you lose your key card or if you are issued a key card for the first time, the card will have the new design. Please be aware that in future, you will be required to apply for access to your building again if you lose your key card.
