Will you be welcoming guest researchers and PhDs over the summer? Then it’s time to start thinking about any work and residence permits needed for the summer and early autumn months.

Over the summer, staffing levels are reduced at the Guest Researcher Support unit and the Danish Agency for International Recruitment and Integration (SIRI) due to holidays. You should therefore expect longer case processing times for any guest researchers and PhDs coming to Denmark in July, August and September.
So please contact the Guest Researcher Support unit as early as possible if you need help applying for work and residence permits for guests arriving during these months. The normal processing time is 7-8 weeks in all, including 30-35 days with the authorities, but processing times are extended during the summer.
If you have any questions, you are welcome to contact Inge Aachmann Pedersen by email or by telephone (+45 8715 3603).
