IT maintenance work will affect a number of AU’s IT systems and services and cause interruptions at different times during the weekend of 28 and 29 January.
2017.01.16 |
AU IT and AU Finance and Estates Project Development will carry out maintenance work from Saturday 28 January at 00:01 to Sunday 29 January at 23:59. The work is necessary in order to ensure a high level of operational stability and IT security for AU staff and students.
Throughout the weekend, it will be possible to use AV equipment in lecture theatres/classrooms, and you will be able to work locally on your computer – i.e. without being connected to central IT systems, shared drives, the video centre, AU’s network or internet.
From 00:02 to approximately 3:00 on Saturday, there will be a disruption of the network connection to AU’s buildings at the following locations: Artillerivej, Bygholm, Flakkebjerg, Herning, Jyndevad, Kalø, Ole Rømer Observatory, Silkeborg, Vejen and Aarslev, in connection with work on fiber cables. This work may also cause interruptions in other services outside the above locations and time frame.
On Saturday from 6:00 to 18:00 at the latest, planned upgrades will cause short service interruptions to the following systems: AROS, ASE Timeplanner, Blackboard, Delfi, IDM, Isilon (files), mit.au.dk, Navision, online self-service, Sharepoint/Linix/Windows servers, Syllabus, telephone services, WAYF, financial management systems and STADS, STADS self-service, STADS VIP, and EDDI.
On Saturday from 12:30 to 13:30 the website will be unavailable - both back- and frontend.
