RUNSAFE engage into a 4-year collaboration with Professor Stefan Grau, Dr. Tobias Hein and Jonatan Jungmalm from Department of food and nutrition, and sport science, University of Gothenburg, Sweden

In this project, starting february 15th 2016 and entitled "Health promotion with focus on physical activity and injury prevention", Rasmus Nielsen from RUNSAFE serves as co-supervisor for PhD student Jonatan Jungmalm, whereas Stefan Grau is main supervisor. One large-scale prospective cohort study and one randomized controlled trial are completed including recreational runners in Sweden.
RUNSAFE looks forward to this collaboration since the band to Sweden is strengthened, and more exciting prospective data collections allow for new insights to the etiology and prevention of running-related injuries.
