The cybercriminals who send out phishing emails usually masquerade as senders you trust, such as the tax authorities, your bank, etc. They send out these fake mails to people to share sensitive personal information or to install malware. You should never click on links or attached files in mails if you are not 100% sure the mail is authentic.
Even though it can be hard to spot a phishing mail, especially a mail masquerading as a mail from Aarhus University, there are som clues you should know about.
