The Academic Council at Health has invited Professor in Physiology Harriet Wallberg from Karolinska Institutet to a mini workshop to discuss "what works and what does not work when promoting gender balance in Academia ?"

Professor Harriet Wallberg will give examples of strategies for promoting gender equality from the Karolinska Institutet and share how she has dealt with gender issues in her own career. Professor Harriet Wallberg has served as the university’s Dean of Research and was the first female President of the Karolinska Institutet during the years 2004-2012.
