Facts about QS Subject Rankings

The QS QS World University Rankings by Subject ranks the world’s leading universities.

Rank on the list is based on responses to surveys on the reputation of the various subjects among employers of the universities’ graduates and researchers from all over the world, in addition to citation metrics and h-index.

The relative weight of these indicators varies from subject to subject. Reputation is weighted most heavily in the humanities and social sciences, while citation rates are the most important indicator in the natural and health sciences.
