alpha-syn oligomere

DANDRITE Core Group Leader Poul Henning Jensen and his research group have received a 100000 $ grant from the Michael J Fox Foundation for a 1-year project entitled “Generation, Characterization, and Small Batch Production of WT aSyn Oligomers for Use in the Development of aSyn Oligomeric Assays”. In collaboration with ND BioSciences (Lausanne, Switzerland), the project will ensure the validation of a-synuclein oligomers for a series of preclinical studies that focus on the development of quantitative methods that enable the use of a-synuclein oligomers as a biomarker for Parkinson’s Disease and Lewy Body Dementia. The project is driven by Postdoc Lasse Reimer at the Department of Biomedicine, Aarhus University.
