Senior consultant Jørn Olsen from Department of Clinical Epidemiology has received a grant of DKK 1.591.952 from the Danish Council for Independent Research | Medical Sciences for the project ”Prenatal and early life exposure to paracetamol and risks of overweight in the offspring”. The study will investigate whether there is an association between maternal use of paracetamol during pregnancy and obesity in the child both before and after puberty.
