Her research focuses on exploring mechanisms of neuropathic pain to develop novel treatment approaches.  She is currently studying plasma and cerebrospinal fluid cytokines, quantitative sensory testing profiles, and radiologic findings in patients undergoing microvascular decompression surgery for trigeminal neuralgia.
