Here are the Lecturers of the Year 2019

The students have voted and selected this year’s Lecturers of the Year at Health. So for the next year, six of the faculty’s lecturers can pride themselves on being ‘Lecturer of the Year’.

Each year, the students at Health choose the faculty’s best lecturers; lecturers who have, for example, gone the extra mile in their teaching, are particularly good at communicating subject matter, or really involve the students in their lectures.

A couple of years ago, the faculty management team at Health took the initiative to pay tribute to talented lecturers with an official award in appreciation of the members of teaching staff who really do something exceptional.

"We want to recognise the lecturers who make a special effort for the students. Perhaps they have rethought and developed their lectures or the course itself, or gone that extra mile for the students," says the new Vice-dean for Education Lise Wogensen Bach, and continues.

"For the lecturers, it is a great honour to be chosen by the students. And we wish to support this initiative, which is why we award a symbolic sum and a diploma," she says.

Each of Health’s board of studies awards a diploma and DKK 5,000 to one lecturer, or – in cases where one board of studies covers multiple study programmes – may also share the award among several lecturers.
