HOLST-KNUDSEN EVENT CANCELLED

Aarhus University's traditional Holst-Knudsen awards event has been cancelled due to the corona situation. But the awards will be still conferred. Find out how here.

The Rigmor and Carl Holst-Knudsen Award for Scientific Research was conferred for the first time in 1958. The amount of 100,000 kroner is awarded as an honorary gift to an AU researcher.

The Holst-Knudsen award ceremony, which was due to take place on Wednesday 27 May 2020, has been cancelled. Instead, the Rigmor and Carl Holst-Knudsen Award for Scientific Research will be presented in connection with Aarhus University's annual celebration on 11 September 2020.

In connection with the  annual Holst-Knudsen award ceremony, the Aarhus University Research Foundation confers PhD awards to five talented PhD student from Aarhus University. This year, these awards will be conferred in June 2020, when the award-winners will be announced on AU’s website and social media channels. The award-winners will be celebrated with articles and videos.
