Surface expression of monocytic markers and PET data or UPSIT score in iRBD patients.
The study shows that immune markers on monocytes in the blood of patients with REM sleep behavioral disorder, a prodromal form of Parkinson's disease, correlated with neuronal and immune changes in the brain, supporting a cross-talk between brain and periphery during the disease.
