PhD course: Hypertension, Diabetes and Cardiovascular disease

A course focusing on impact of hypertension and diabetes on the vasculature, the brain, the heart and the kidney. All participants will get the opportunity to present their own PhD project or research.

Together with the Danish Diabetes Academy we invite you to this interactive PhD course bridging basic, epidemiological and clinical research focusing on impact of hypertension and diabetes on the vasculature, the brain, the heart and the kidney. All participants will get the opportunity to present their own PhD project or research results in small interactive groups and get professional feedback on content and presentation technique.

Aim of the course:

 

  1. To increase knowledge about the latest research in hypertension, diabetes and cardiovascular disease.
  2. To improve presentation technique and receive constructive criticism of own research supporting future research career of the participant.
  3. To facilitate Nordic-Baltic networking between PhD students

Who can attend?
PhD students from Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Poland and Baltic countries working with hypertension, diabetes or cardiovascular disease who submit an abstract (<300 words) on their PhD project or their research results together with a short motivation letter (<100 words). The participants are selected based on their abstract submission and their motivation letter.
