The first report from the new Danish colorectal cancer screening program has been published. It covers the first three months of the program, which was launched in 2014. The primary aim of the report was to assess the quality of the reported data. The report thus includes a validation of the newly introduced codes in the Danish National Registry of Patients to be used for the screening program. Competence Centre for Epidemiology and Biostatistics, North (part of Department of Clinical Epidemiology) has been in charge of the biostatistical analyses and comments regarding epidemiology.
