Rethink Aarhus 2017: First call for research projects

Aarhus University invites researchers from all four main academic areas to engage in six large-scale projects for rethinkIMPACTS 2017: European Capital of Culture Research Framework.

Researchers from Aarhus University now have the opportunity to engage in projects related to Rethink Aarhus 2017.

The aim of the program is to study how culture can create and transform economic, social, political and aesthetical values and wealth through civic participation and co-creation.

The six research themes are:

  • Creative Industries, entrepreneurship and regional development (theme coordinator
  • Participatory culture, technology and urban life
  • Cultural ecologies and sustainability
  • Image and Identity
  • Governance and process
  • Evaluating cultural processes

Application deadline for grants for research projects is 10 January 2014.
