Synapsium is a symposium organized by students, for students, addressing early PhD-, MSc-, and exceptional BSc- students from across the Netherlands and beyond. The goal is to create a stimulating and interactive platform for exchanging ideas and experiences, as well as getting familiar with recent innovations in the field of neuroscience.
The virtual edition of Synapsium will include a senior and student keynote talk, a panel discussion on efficiency in neuroscience, and virtual poster presentations. The senior keynote speaker this year is Prof. Ole Jensen from the University of Birmingham, whose research work focuses on neuronal oscillations in humans and animals. During the panel discussion, we are going to address initiatives and practices that stimulate research and open science, support academic communities and endorse standards of today's neuroscience.
