The first degree conferment ceremony for PhD graduates and new doctors was held on 31 May 2017 in the Aula. Approx. 27 PhD graduates and new doctors participated in the ceremony.

The first degree conferment ceremony for PhD graduates and new doctors was held on 31 May 2017 in the Aula. The ceremony is held to mark and celebrate the successful completion of studies and research for PhD graduates and new doctors at Health. Approximately 27 PhD graduates and new doctors participated in the ceremony.

The programme for the ceremony contained ceremonial and festive speechs, presentation and distribution of diplomas, awarding of the JCD prize and musical entertainment followed by a reception.

The JCD Prize (the good PhD Supervisor) was awarded to Professor Cecilia Høst Ramlau-Hansen from Department of Public Health. In addition to the honour, Cecilia is awarded DKK 25,000.
