The fall of communism took place in Central Europe 25 years ago. But what actually happened in 1989? Did communism collapse or was it defeated? And what is the legacy of the communist era in relation to the most pressing foreign-policy issues of today?

These are some of the questions to be discussed in a workshop organized by Aarhus University in collaboration with the Ambassadors of the Visegrad Group (Czech Republic, Slovak Republic, Poland and Hungary) on Thursday October 9. The four Ambassadors will address these topics followed by a discussion with students and faculty members from Aarhus University.

The event takes place on Thursday October 9 at 2pm-4 pm in Auditorium 1, Building 1441 (corner of Randersvej/Nordre Ringgade). Admission is free and everybody is welcome.
