Two projects headed by DCE researchers received a grant from the Danish Cancer Society, which has distributed funds from the 2015 Beat Cancer (Knæk Cancer) campaign. Senior researcher Ellen Mikkelsen, MPH, PhD, received a grant of DKK 600,000 for the project “The influence of comorbidity on the effects of breast cancer screening”. Associate professor Sisse Helle Njor, MSc, PhD received DKK 480,000 for the project “Mammography screening as follow-up for breast cancer patients – what are the pros and cons?”
