On Friday 12 March at 14:00, Andreas Halgreen Eiset defends his PhD dissertation entitled "Asylum Seekers’ and Refugees’ Changing Health - Infectious diseases & The association of long-distance migration and PTSD using propensity score-weighting and multiple imputation".

The health of Syrian refugees in Denmark and Lebanon was examined in a new research at Aarhus University, Denmark. The prevalence of intestinal parasites and antibiotic resistant bacteria was assessed and the association between long-distance migration and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) was estimated.
